Boston firefighters heard gunshots as they approached an apartment building fire Saturday.
Deputy Fire Chief Michael Doherty said residents were evacuated and crews took cover as a SWAT team moved in to figure out where the shots were coming from, WCVB reported.
Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox said police located the suspect and arrested him.
He suffered a slight injury to his lower body, likely a result of him jumping out a window.
